Healing from the inside out.

My journey began as a modern dancer, teacher, and choreographer, fueled by a lifelong passion for movement and meditation. With over three decades of experience, including more than two decades dedicated to yoga, I approach the body as a harmonious organism, using diverse, individualized methods to help each person move toward greater ease, awareness, and well-being.

Over the years, my curiosity about the connection between body, mind, and emotion has led me to study across a range of disciplines. I am a Certified Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner, having completed the professional training developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and studied directly with Dr. Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. I am also a certified Hatha Yoga and Sun & Moon Yoga Studio Teacher Trainer, have trained in Yoga Trance Dance and dynamic somatic movement with Shiva Rea, and hold professional certification in foot reflexology through the Mandala Healing Arts Institute. My training also includes certification as a Life & Wellness Coach through Symbiosis Coaching.

I don’t see these as separate disciplines so much as different ways of meeting the whole person. Movement, breath, meditation, therapeutic touch, somatic inquiry, and compassionate conversation all inform my work, allowing me to shape each experience around the individual rather than asking the individual to fit a particular method. I am deeply inspired by the beauty of movement, art, and the utter joy of sharing what I love with others.

I am bilingual, offering services in both English and Hungarian to accommodate a diverse range of clients. Feel free to connect with me in the language that best suits your needs. I am currently based in the Washington, DC area, where I serve as director of Yoga Teacher Training at Sun & Moon Yoga Studio in Northern Virginia. Some of my offerings are also available online.

AN INTEGRATED APPROACH

One of the deepest strengths of my work is the ability to draw from different modalities according to what you need. Bodies and lives are complex, and what is most supportive one day may be very different from what you need the next.

A session might begin with conversation and somatic inquiry and move naturally into breath or gentle movement as something becomes apparent in the body. Another might combine mindful yoga and breathwork with restorative reflexology. At other times, one modality may be exactly enough.

I also believe that what happens between sessions matters. When useful, I may suggest simple breath practices, movements, grounding techniques, or other ways of carrying what we discover together into daily life—not as homework to accomplish, but as resources you can return to.

My Offerings

  • MINDFUL YOGA

Discover a yoga practice designed specifically for you. Drawing from decades of experience with movement, yoga, breath, meditation, and the body’s innate intelligence, I create each session around the needs of the person in front of me—not around a prescribed sequence or one-size-fits-all approach.

My sessions may include individualized Hatha yoga, mindful and somatic movement, postural alignment, pranayama (breathwork), and meditation. Rather than asking your body to conform to a particular shape or ideal, I help you explore movement in ways that support greater ease, awareness, mobility, balance, and trust in your own body.

This work can be particularly helpful when you are navigating stiffness or joint limitations, postural fatigue, stress, shallow or restricted breathing, nervous-system overwhelm, or changes in strength and mobility. It can also be wonderfully valuable when nothing is “wrong”—when you simply want to feel better in your body and develop a more attentive, nourishing relationship with it.

There is room for conversation, too. I want to understand how you are feeling when you arrive and what you notice as we work together, so that the practice can evolve with you. Whether you are completely new to yoga or have practiced for years, I begin with you, exactly where you are.

  • REFLEXOLOGY

Sometimes the most powerful way to support the whole body is through the feet. As a Certified Foot Reflexologist, I offer deeply restorative sessions using therapeutic pressure and touch to invite relaxation, grounding, and a greater sense of ease throughout the body. I may combine reflexology with heated basalt stones, organic botanical oils, warm compresses, and gentle lower-leg lymphatic work, creating an experience that is both therapeutic and profoundly nurturing.

Because our feet bear so much—quite literally—they can be an extraordinary doorway into whole-body relaxation. Reflexology can be especially supportive during periods of stress, fatigue, poor sleep, or when the body simply feels depleted and in need of care. The intention is not to force the body to relax, but to create the conditions that allow it to soften on its own.

Each session is responsive to you. I take time to learn how you are feeling before we begin and to notice what your body seems to be asking for that day. Some people come to reflexology with a particular concern; others come because they need an hour in which nothing is required of them except to receive.

Both are very good reasons to come.

  • COACHING & SOMATIC INQUIRY

Sometimes what you carry shows up not only in your thoughts, but in your body—in tension, recurring emotional reactions, exhaustion, a sense of being stuck, or patterns you understand intellectually but somehow keep finding yourself inside.

As a Certified Compassionate Inquiry® Practitioner, trained in the psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, I offer a gentle process of somatic self-inquiry that explores the relationship among your emotions, beliefs, lived experiences, and the ways your body has learned to respond to them.

Compassionate Inquiry is less about analyzing yourself from the outside and more about becoming curious about what is happening within you right now. I may invite you to notice a physical sensation, an emotion, an image, a belief, or a familiar response and, together, we follow what emerges with curiosity rather than judgment.

This work can be helpful when you are experiencing chronic stress, burnout, emotional blocks, persistent tension, or patterns that no longer serve you but have proven difficult to change. Often these patterns developed for very good reasons. Rather than treating them as something to eliminate or “fix,” the practice is to meet them with enough attention and compassion to understand what lies beneath them.

The intention is not to push for answers or revisit the past simply for the sake of revisiting it. It is to create a safe, attentive space in which greater clarity, self-understanding, and self-compassion can emerge—and from there, the possibility of a different relationship with yourself.

  • DECLUTTERING

Transform your home into a space that renews and energizes you each day. I guide you gently through the process of letting go, freeing your space from clutter and stagnant energy. Though it can be emotionally challenging, this journey leads to liberation. When your home is clear, so too is your path to peace and purpose. Let’s create that harmony together.
